Dhensa Resort

Dhensa Resort sits in the heart of the tranquil and lush Punakha Valley. Flanked by thick pine forests, it overlooks the Punakha river and hundreds of paddy fields that stair-step down to the valley floor. The 24 contemporary and bright suites are set in six cottages, all with private balconies, plush beds, and bathtubs thoughtfully set by French windows. The restaurant serves home-style Bhutanese cooking, as well as a variety of Western and Asian favorites, and are created using local and organic produce. There's also a spa offering an array of massage treatments, and a yoga shala.
