The Galapagos Explorer is a luxury 38 m (124 ft) expedition yacht. With only 12 guests on board, the Galapagos Explorer offers one of the best guest-to-staff ratios in the islands. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows fill the spacious guest areas with natural light, providing breathtaking views of the ever-changing landscapes of the Galapagos. The yacht’s al fresco sundeck on the uppermost deck features a hot tub and a comfortable lounge area. The ship features four cabins and two suites distributed between the lower, middle and upper decks. All cabins feature ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.

Children Policy:

  • Children aged 12 years and older are welcome (7 years and older welcome on charters)
  • Children aged 12 – 16 years sharing with one or two adults receives a 20% discount off the adult rate
  • Children aged 12 – 16 years sharing a cabin – first child pays adult rate, second child receives a 20% discount.
  • An additional bed (for a child aged 12 – 16 years) may be added to the Superior Suite (max. 1 triple per cruise)

Single Supplement:

  • Festive season*: 100% single supplement applies (*Festive season: Cruises sailing over 25 Dec and 31 Dec)
  • Rest of year: 80% single supplement applies
