Welcome to South Korea! Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will be met by your local English-speaking guide and transferred by private vehicle into the heart of Seoul. A dynamic capital where ancient palaces sit alongside high-rise towers, Seoul is a city that balances tradition and innovation. After checking in to your hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure to rest or begin exploring at your own pace.
Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel is a modern, full-service hotel located in the heart of Seoul’s Dongdaemun district, close to shopping centers and historic sites. The hotel offers a range of accommodations, including standard rooms and apartment-style residences with kitchenettes. On-site amenities include a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, sauna, rooftop bar with sweeping city views, and multiple dining options serving Korean and international cuisine.
Meet your guide in the morning for a full-day exploration of Seoul by public transport. Begin with a hanbok rental near Gyeongbokgung Palace. After choosing your style, don traditional dress for a walk through the palace grounds, once the main royal residence of the Joseon Dynasty. Visit the National Folk Museum, located within the complex, to learn about traditional Korean life and culture.
Change back into regular clothes, then head to Bukchon Hanok Village. Stroll through narrow lanes lined with traditional wooden homes, many still privately owned. Continue to Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its graceful design and serene courtyards. Wrap up the day in Ikseon-dong, a lively neighborhood where hanok houses now host trendy cafés and shops.

Today begins with a visit to Namsan Tower, one of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks and a favorite K-drama filming location, offering sweeping city views. Continue to Myeongdong, a vibrant shopping district where you can browse K-pop albums, celebrity merchandise, and skincare boutiques.
Next, visit HiKR Ground, a hands-on experience zone for K-pop and K-drama fans that combines immersive exhibits with digital interaction. Stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, a scenic waterway through the city center often seen in Korean dramas, before heading to the upscale Gangnam district. Walk K-Star Road, snapping photos with playful bear sculptures dedicated to K-pop groups.
Make a peaceful stop at Bongeunsa Temple, nestled between skyscrapers, before finishing the day at COEX Mall. See the Gangnam Style statue, visit the Instagram-famous Starfield Library, and shop for exclusive albums and collectibles at KTown4U.

Walk to nearby Jayang Traditional Market, a bustling spot filled with fresh produce, spices, and local specialties. Learn about key ingredients and shop for items to use in today’s cooking class. Under the chef’s guidance, prepare a traditional Korean meal while learning about the history and techniques behind each dish. Afterward, sit down together to enjoy your freshly prepared lunch.
In the afternoon, head to a Taekwondo training center in central Seoul. Change into a dobok (uniform) and join your certified English-speaking instructor for a one-hour beginner class. Learn the basics of Korea’s national martial art, including stances, punches, kicks, and a simple poomsae (form).

Set off with your guide and private driver for a full day of cultural immersion. Begin at the National Museum of Korea, the country’s premier cultural institution. Spend time exploring its impressive collection of royal artefacts, Buddhist art, ceramics, and calligraphy, offering a deeper understanding of Korea’s layered history.
Next, visit a welcoming home near the Han River for a special lunch experience. Prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients from the host’s farm, this home-cooked meal is an opportunity to share conversation and connect with a local family, with your guide on hand to facilitate meaningful exchange.
After lunch, stop at Mangwon Market, a favorite neighborhood spot filled with street food stalls and local sweets. Then continue to the lively Hongdae district, known for its youthful energy and creative vibe. Start with a hands-on Norigae-making workshop, crafting your own traditional Korean accessory.
Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Hongdae’s backstreets, quirky shops, and popular character stores like Kakao Friends and LINE Friends. Before returning to the hotel, stop by a self-photo studio for a lighthearted photo session – a popular local trend and fun way to capture the day.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Jeju Island. Shaped by volcanic forces, Jeju is famed for its dramatic coastlines, lava tubes, waterfalls, and island culture.
Upon arrival, meet your local guide and driver, then head to a nearby restaurant for a welcome lunch. Begin your island exploration with a visit to the Jeju Haenyeo Museum, dedicated to the island’s legendary women divers. These remarkable women harvest seafood without modern equipment, relying on centuries-old techniques passed down through generations. Afterward, witness a live Haenyeo diving demonstration, a rare and moving display of skill and resilience.
Continue to Seongsan Ilchulbong, a dramatic volcanic crater rising from the sea. Hike to the summit (about 30 minutes) for panoramic views over the coast and countryside before descending on foot. In the evening, enjoy a special Haenyeo-style dinner.
Lotte Hotel Jeju is a large resort-style property located on the southern coast of Jeju Island, offering expansive ocean views and extensive leisure facilities. The hotel features a wide range of rooms and suites, many with balconies overlooking the sea or gardens. The trails wind through dense forests, along crater rims, and up to panoramic viewpoints, offering a peaceful and immersive experience of Jeju’s natural beauty and geological heritage.
Following the hike, enjoy a coastal drive with a stop at Hamdeok Beach, known for its calm turquoise waters and white sand. Continue to the Daekmeoru Coast for striking views of wave-carved volcanic rock and open sea.
This afternoon, visit Samseonghyeol, a tranquil sacred site linked to Jeju’s foundation legends, before heading to Dongmun Market. Walk through bustling lanes lined with local street food, fresh seafood, and island specialties before returning to your hotel for the evening at your leisure.
After breakfast, meet your guide for a full day exploring Jeju. Begin at Hallim Park, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden home to themed areas like Palm Tree Avenue, the Bonsai Garden, and subtropical greenhouses. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the O’sulloc Tea Museum. Learn about Korea’s tea culture, explore scenic green tea fields, and sample a variety of teas, being sure not to miss the museum’s signature green tea ice cream.
Next, visit Jusangjeolli Cliffs, where dramatic hexagonal basalt columns rise from the sea, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions and shaped by ocean waves. Then, continue to Yakcheonsa Temple, one of Korea’s largest Buddhist temples. Step inside the soaring main hall to see the towering Vairocana Buddha and thousands of intricately carved miniature statues lining the walls.
End the day at Jeongbang Falls, one of the few waterfalls in Asia that tumbles directly into the ocean. Take time to enjoy the views of the cliffs, sea spray, and surrounding forest before returning to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
