Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at the airport in Milan, you’ll be privately transferred approx. 2 hours to your hotel for the next three nights in Benevello.
Located in the picturesque Piedmont region, Benevello is a small town known for its excellent wine, truffle foraging, historic castles, and scenic countryside painted with rolling hills, vineyards, and forests.
Relais Villa d’Amelia was born from the masterly renovation of the nineteenth-century Cascina Bonelli, in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe region, a short distance from the town of Alba. Sitting on the ridge of a hill between luscious woods and spectacular hazelnut groves, and a breathtaking view of the Alps to boot, Villa d’Amelia is the perfect starting point to discover a magic region, rich in flavors and traditions. The hotel’s elegant and warm interiors and its manicured blooming gardens surrounding the villa create the perfect atmosphere one would find in a private home, where every guest receives carefully tailored services. The hotel also features the exclusive Restaurant DaMà, where it is possible to enjoy the specialties of the region prepared both according to classic recipes and their more modern reinterpretations.
Spend a full day exploring the heart of Italy’s renowned Langhe region. Visit a prestigious winery in the Barolo region, where you’ll discover the rich heritage behind one of Italy’s most celebrated wines. During the tasting, you’ll experience Barolo’s distinctive character—marked by aromas of cherry, rose, truffle, and spices—and learn about the traditional methods and unique terroir that contribute to its global reputation.
The day continues with a guided walking tour of Alba, a historic town famous for its food culture and medieval charm. Nicknamed “The City of a Hundred Towers,” Alba offers a fascinating blend of Roman, medieval, and Baroque architecture. As you explore its narrow streets with your expert guide, you’ll also gain insight into the region’s culinary traditions, including its famed white truffles, which draw food lovers from around the world.
*Includes: Breakfast
Discover the flavors of Piedmont with a visit to a traditional dairy farm, where you’ll explore the region’s rich cheese-making traditions. Known for producing some of Italy’s most distinctive cheeses, Piedmont is home to renowned varieties such as Bra, Castelmagno, Murazzano, Raschera, Toma Piemontese, and Robiola d’Alba.
During your visit, you’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at the production process, followed by a guided tasting session featuring a variety of cheeses paired with local breads.
Afterwards, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Today you’ll depart from Benevello and travel to Cogne in the Valle d’Aosta. Along the way, visit Bard, a beautifully preserved village at the gateway to the Aosta Valley. You’ll have free time to explore its quiet, atmospheric streets, lined with medieval buildings, artisan shops, and inviting cafés. Overlooking the town is the impressive Fort of Bard, a 19th-century fortress that hosts exhibitions and the Museum of the Alps.
From Bard you’ll visit the iconic Castle of Fénis, one of the most iconic castles in the Aosta Valley. Once the residence of the powerful Challant family, this well-preserved medieval fortress showcases both defensive architecture and refined noble interiors. As you explore its towers, courtyards, and halls adorned with frescoes and stonework, you’ll gain insight into the life and legacy of the region’s aristocracy during the Middle Ages.
Finally, arrive in Cogne and check into your hotel for the next four nights.
Bellevue Hotel e Spa is a stunning mountain lodge surrounded by meadows and a glacier-capped peak. Its quirky, cozy design evokes a fairytale feeling, all while offering 5-star service. Guests can enjoy the Alps-style sauna and spa with a wide range of treatments, a heated indoor swimming pool, a spacious terrace and indoor lounge spaces with panoramic views, stunning well-appointed rooms, an impressive wine cellar, and a cozy bar and restaurant serving hearty Alpine fare.
Spend the day in the Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc region, one of the most breathtaking areas in the Alps. After breakfast, you’ll travel to the alpine village of Courmayeur, nestled at the foot of Mont Blanc.
Ride a cable car ride from La Palud to Punta Helbronner, soaring to an altitude of 3,462 meters and offering unparalleled panoramic views of Europe’s highest peaks, including Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, and Gran Paradiso. At the top, take in the stunning 360-degree vistas from the panoramic terrace.
From Punta Helbronner, enjoy a gentle 3-hour-long mostly-flat hike leading to Lac Bleu, a serene alpine lake with crystal-clear waters that mirror the dramatic backdrop of surrounding glaciers and mountain peaks.
After descending, return to your hotel in Cogne.
Today you’ll head to Gran Paradiso National Park. Starting from the village of Lillaz, you’ll set out on a 7.5 mile hike, taking approximately 2.5 hours.
The hike begins with a visit to the Lillaz Waterfalls, where the Urtier stream cascades dramatically in three tiers, offering a perfect photo opportunity. From there, the trail climbs steadily through a forested path, eventually leading to Loie Lake—an alpine gem set against a backdrop of rugged peaks and open sky.
After the hike, you’ll make your way back to the hotel, with the rest of the day at your leisure.
Enjoy a free day in Cogne to do as you please. Surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of Gran Paradiso National Park, Cogne offers a perfect setting to unwind and take in the natural beauty at your own pace.
Stroll through the village’s picturesque center, where traditional wooden chalets, flower-lined balconies, and small artisan shops reflect the area’s rich mountain heritage. Stop at a local café to relax with a hot drink or try regional specialties such as fontina cheese and freshly baked rye bread.
If you’re in the mood for more activity, a variety of hiking trails begin right from the village, offering access to scenic viewpoints and the chance to spot local wildlife. Alternatively, enjoy a gentle walk through the expansive Sant’Orso meadows, a peaceful spot ideal for soaking up panoramic views and fresh alpine air.
Enjoy a comfortable private transfer from Cogne to Turin. Along the way, you’ll visit La Venaria Reale, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former royal palace of the House of Savoy. Located just outside Turin, this grand baroque complex was originally built as a hunting lodge and later expanded into a symbol of regal power and refinement.
Led by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll explore highlights such as the elegant Courtyard of Honor, the richly decorated interiors, and the breathtaking Great Gallery with its ornate stuccoes and expansive windows. You’ll also visit the Chapel of St. Hubert, a fine example of baroque religious architecture. After the tour, take time to stroll through the palace’s beautifully landscaped gardens before continuing to your hotel in Turin.
Turin Palace Hotel is in Turin's historic city center. This contemporary hotel features elegant indoor and outdoor dining and lounge areas, including a rooftop terrace offering views of Turin. The rooms and suites are spacious and bright, and other hotel facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a spa and gym, and more.
Enjoy a full day to explore Turin. Your expert guide will meet you at your hotel to begin exploring the city’s highlights.
Once the first capital of modern Italy, Turin is known for its grand boulevards, Baroque architecture, French influence, and aristocratic atmosphere. As you walk through its stately streets, you’ll see landmarks from the Savoy dynasty, admire arcaded palaces, and discover why Turin earned the nickname “the little Paris.” The city’s majestic setting—framed by the Po River and the Alps—adds to its charm.
A highlight of your tour is the Mole Antonelliana, one of Turin’s most iconic monuments. With its soaring 167-meter spire and distinctive architecture, the Mole offers an incredible panoramic view of the city from its glass elevator-accessible viewing platform.
Your tour concludes with a visit to a historic café, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Bicerin—a decadent mix of espresso, hot chocolate, and cream—offering a taste of Turin’s famed café culture.
