Day 1: Welcome to Seoul

Seoul city Downtown skyline in Seoul, South Korea.

Welcome to South Korea! Upon your arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will be greeted by a local English-speaking guide and transferred to Seoul.

Seoul, the capital of South Korea, offers a fascinating blend of ancient tradition and cutting-edge innovation. This sprawling metropolis is home to historic palaces, bustling markets, futuristic architecture, and a vibrant arts scene—making it a cultural, technological, and historical hub of East Asia.

Your Seoul journey begins with a traditional pedicab ride along Cheonggyecheon Stream, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of the city. Glide alongside the peaceful waters as your local pedicab driver shares engaging stories and insights into the stream’s history and significance.

After the ride, say goodbye to your pedicab driver and choose to either return to your hotel or explore Seoul’s nightlife on your own. You may also opt to visit Gwangjang Market, one of Korea’s oldest and largest traditional markets. This bustling market is a treasure trove of culinary delights, featuring a mesmerizing array of street foods and local specialties such as piping-hot bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) and savory tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes).

Accommodations: Novotel Ambassador Dongdaemun , 3 nights

Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel is a modern, full-service hotel located in the heart of Seoul’s Dongdaemun district, close to shopping centers and historic sites. The hotel offers a range of accommodations, including standard rooms and apartment-style residences with kitchenettes. On-site amenities include a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, sauna, rooftop bar with sweeping city views, and multiple dining options serving Korean and international cuisine.

Day 2: Full Day Seoul City Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, set off for a full day of exploring Seoul. Your tour begins with a visit to Gyeongbokgung (Gyeongbok) Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Originally built in 1395, it was expanded in 1867 to become the largest—and arguably most beautiful—of Seoul’s five palaces, with a total of 330 buildings.

While at the palace, you have the option to visit the National Folk Museum, located within the palace grounds. The museum features engaging exhibits on the history and culture of the Korean people.

Next, visit Namsangol Hanok Village, a reconstructed village showcasing five restored hanoks from the Joseon Dynasty. The village offers an authentic glimpse into traditional Korean life and serves as an educational experience for visitors of all ages.

The rest of the day is at your leisure. Feel free to explore on your own, or let us know if you’d like to reserve dinner at one of Seoul’s esteemed Michelin-starred restaurants.
